Second single release from forthcoming album Roots/Routes - Route 500 is a story about freedom. At the time of writing I had just passed my driving test and gone for a little drive in my car, which turned into a mini adventure around the Fife coastline. It marked a moment where I was closer to a long-term dream of driving the NC500 - Route 500 was born that day. Written on bass and driving the song forward, it grew into a charming joyful tune with its array of orchestral instruments and acoustic guitar. Every time I hear this song I am filled with such glee and reminded of how far I have come. Route 500 is all about journeys and seeing our own worth. Its cheery and a perfect alternative for the run up to Christmas. Single out on 15th Dec
